Our mission is to encourage creative thinking and risk-taking by creating a positive and encouraging space for young dancers.
DDL handles all administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, payment of faculty, and booking all travel and accommodations.

MASTER CLASSES
ADJUDICATION SHOWCASE
Our uniquely developed Competition Weekend Alternative!
DDL’s Adjudication Showcase is a two-part event where your dancers have the opportunity to perform for and take classes with our faculty.
This event truly bridges the gap between the studio and the stage.
Part 1: SHOWCASE
Perform your dances. Receive verbal and written critiques of your performance. Our faculty will work with your dancers on how to apply their critiques for each of their dances.
Part 2: WORKSHOP
Your dancers take classes with their Adjudicators. Classes will be geared toward the observations from the Showcase, tying together the whole event.

MISSION
Dance Device Lab is rooted in the ideas of creativity and risk-taking. We will work on technique and learn movement phrases, but we will also give your dancers the tools to think outside the box and grow as individual artists and, therefore, people. Working in an intimate in-studio setting gives our faculty the freedom to reach each dancer personally and provide individualized feedback.
All of our events provide tools that are valuable to dancers as both artists and citizens and are transferable to inside and outside of the studio.
All of our events are customizable to meet your dancers’ needs. Bringing our faculty to your studio will propel your dancers to the next level on stage and off.
